Hello ! My name is Louise. I am a French student on exchange in Dublin. I am looking for a flexible job in order to financially support my studies.

I grew up surrounded by animals, cats, dogs, even horses. I currently have five cats and a dog. Unfortunately, they're back home and I miss them dearly.

That's why I think that helping others take care of their pets might be a good idea for extra income and extra comfort. I have done dog sitting in highschool so I do have a bit of experience in the matter.

I offer most services avilable on the platform except any service involving my own place. As a student, I don't have the possibility to accomodate pets because of the type of accomodation I reside in. This means that I am not available for Dog Boarding or Doggy Day Care. But for any other services, you can count on me.

I am available for House Sitting. I am comfortable with keeping them company for several nights if needed. I can stay with them throughout the day. How long I can stay during the day also depends on my classes that day but I will make sure to spend most of my time with them. Regarding home security measures, I am open to listen to your needs. I guarantee you that doors will stay closed if need be. I'll stay with your pet if they wander outside, if you have a garden. I will make sure they don't go where they're not allowed to. If I'm out, the front door and windows will be locked. I do take seriously the safety of your house and your pets as it will be my responsibility in case of house sitting.

I am also able to do Home Visits, once or twice a day, whatever you prefer. I can stay for a couple hours, give them food, keep them company. If you have plants to water, I can also take care of this or bring the mail in if you're absent for a while.

Finally, I also offer Dog walking. The walks can last up to an hour, depending on your dog's needs and what you usually do with them. If you prefer longer walks, that can be arranged. During those walks I would mostly stick to walking around your neighbourhood or go to a park if there is one nearby. I am also okay with taking them where you usually go, stick to the routines. Although, keep in mind that I do not own a car so my options are limited in terms of motion.

Regarding dogs, I don't have any preference for the type. Big or small, young or old, I don't care, as long as it's a dog. Regarding all pets, do tell me if they have any specific diets or if their behaviour changes with other animals or children, so I can be prepared and take care of them the best way possible.

I am able to administer medication unless it's with a needle. I can only administer pills to pets; I do not have the right training for any other form of medication. I do not offer training or anything of the sort, I wouldn't know how to. I can offer grooming to a certain extent, for example, I can do baths or brushing. Anything else, I'm afraid I won't have the competence for it. Regarding cats, I can also trim their claws.

In terms of availability, I obviously put my studies first. I do have a relatively flexible schedule so accomodating shouldn't be a problem. I am available in the morning during the whole week except on Mondays because of classes. On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday my afternoons are booked and my evenings are free during the whole week.

So if you have no other options for your pet, please schedule early on so I can organize myself. As for the christmas holidays, because of the varying prices of plane tickets, I still don't know for sure what my schedule will look like. I probably won't be available around the main holiday dates (24th, 25th, 31st, 1st), I plan on going back home to see my family and I will put them first if needed. I do need to see my cats and my dog, if I don't I might not pass the year !
