Hey! My name is Kayleigh Cheng and I'm 20 years old. I'm a college student studying Veterinary Medicine in UCD. I adore animals as you can tell by my course! I am kind, caring, loving and patient with pets.
I personally own/ have owned and taken care of a dog, a rabbit, hamsters and fish. Though I also have ample amount of experience dealing with other animals not just my own.
I have volunteered working in the DSPCA. I worked with animals with troubled pasts and here is where I learnt empathy and patience. I walked, feed, comforted and clean these dogs and their cages. I gained skills such as walking / caring for difficult dogs and being vigilant, careful but loving . I bonded with the dogs quickly and this experience really solidified why I wanted to be a Veterinarian and work with animals.
I have also worked in a veterinary hospital. Again, gaining experience with animals. Here I learnt skills such as basic animal husbandry, animal restraint and maintaining a surgical environment. I watched surgeries, helped restrain animals while the vet checked them out and I also took care of vulnerable animals who were admitted into the hospital.
I recently spent 10 days in Meath doing lambing. I moved the lambs in the correct position prior to birth to ensure a healthy birth. Once each lamb was born, I bottle fed them and nurtured them as they were young and vulnerable. I also became comfortable with injections as we injected the ewes after birth.
I would love to become an animal sitter/ walker/ feeder because I just love spending time and taking care of animals. I believe I am quite qualified as I often mind neighbours, friends and families pets. In college, we learn basic animal husbandry for each animal type and therefore I believe I know much about pets and animals. I would love to gain experience with more pets and I view minding pets not just as a job but as a pleasure!

I have a few years' experience dog sitting for neighbors and family friends, and recently spent time with a new mom dog who had had puppies a little over a week prior! I have years of experience with cats and dogs. I live in Dublin and don't have any pets here but I regularly visit my family home in Cork where we have 4 cats and 2 dogs! I always look forward to heading home to them! Nothing beats seeing them each day! I think this would be lovely work and in reality it wouldn't even feel like work! I'm available in the Blanchardstown, Castleknock, Chapelizod areas mainly but am very open to different ideas or suggestions. My name is Thays, I'm 28 years old.
I was 3 years old when I got my first dog from my parents, his name was Rex and he spent eleven years as my best friend. Between these years, I had other pets and recently a miniature pincher that I miss a lot. I had the most diverse experiences with animals: helping with childbirth, dealing with illnesses, caring after neutering, discovering allergies that required specific food and sudden loss of animals.
I know how special pets are and are part of our family, only those who have or have had one know. They do more for us than we can do for them. I love being among the animals, taking care of them, and watching them play, it makes me very happy.
I've recently moved to Dublin, I don't have a pet yet so I'd like to be around and help out with other animals.
I had the experience of taking care of two cats and three dogs while their owners were away. With my experiences, I am well aware of the pain of those who hand over their beloved pet to someone else and I am careful to follow the rules, schedules, respect the animal's behavior and keep the owners informed with photos and videos so that they can be calm.
I can administer pet medication.
I cannot host pets in my house, but in the owner's house I accept up to 5 pets at the same time.
I offer 2 walks a day for 30 minutes or 1 hour.

My motivation to embark on this journey again stems from a deep-relationship that I have with my own dog, Buddy.  My family and I adopted Buddy here in Ireland and he's been living with us for 6 years now. Last year he developed diabetes and became blind in a very young age. Buddy and I've been through a lot of emotions and difficult moments that we almost believed we would never see each other again. Thankfully our love and care for Buddy is keeping him happy and alive!    Like I provide the best care for my own dogs, I will genuinely provide your lovely furr friend with the best possible care and companionship when their owners are away.
Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or simply offering companionship, I take pride in ensuring that each pet in my care feels happy, comfortable, and loved.

I'm Michael, in my mid 30s, and normally work as an engineer. I love hanging out with dogs and getting out for walks or runs with them, and for everyone's safety and peace of mind, I will not be bringing out my own dog or other dogs with your dog. I've had my own dog, Ruby for over 2 years now and she's my best pal, and I can't wait to hang out with your dog too. Looking after dogs is very rewarding, I love to be the one to take them for a walk when they've been sitting bored and on their own - their face lights up every time and they're always in a great mood when they get out and about.&nbsp;I'm based in Leixlip, County Kildare and willing to travel by car within a 15 minute radius (preferably not through tolls unless you're willing to pay for them on top). Feel free to ask if you're not sure if I'm willing to travel to where you are. When I pick up your dog, I'll make sure they have a seatbelt attached to their collar, and have somewhere soft for them to lay down, as well as towels to dry them off if they get caught in the rain etc, and I'll also have a few snacks for them (please let me know any dietary requirements.I normally take my dog for a 45-60 minute walk, but happy to accommodate to your dog's needs. There are a few great paved walking tracks around where I live (along the Royal Canal, at the perimeter of my housing estate, at Castletown House in Celbridge) and also a great dog park where your dog can run free and socialise with other dogs. Please let me know any behavioral information about your dog that I need to be aware of as I do not want to put your dog in a situation they're uncomfortable with.&nbsp;I'm available every day of the week, with a few days booked up (see my availability) and can work around your schedule as required with some advanced notice.I'm happy to walk any size and breed of dog provided they are reasonably well trained and behaved.Let me know if you have anything you need to send along with your dog (their leads, harness, water bowls/bottles, medication, toilet bags, toys etc.)





I'm happy to send photo updates of your pup and take them for walks local to your area or further afield, but unfortunately, I cannot offer to take dog's into my own home.
