My name is Mayra, and I am a journalist and lifelong dog lover. Dogs have always been an important part of my life. Since childhood, I have shared my home with dogs, including a Poodle and two Lhasa Apsos. Since moving to Ireland, I have also enjoyed spending time with my friends’ dogs, including a Labrador and a Greyhound.

Unfortunately, I cannot have a dog of my own at the moment because my landlord does not allow pets. I miss having dogs around me so much, and I would love the opportunity to spend time with them again while giving them plenty of care, attention, and affection.

I am responsible, caring, and genuinely enjoy the company of dogs. Looking after someone’s dog would be much more than a responsibility for me—it would be a wonderful chance to have dogs back in my life and make them feel happy, safe, and love.

Walks can be adapted to each dog’s needs and the owner’s preferences. I’m happy to follow your usual routine, whether that means short walks, longer adventures, or simply some relaxed time together.
