Hello :)

I'm Claire, I've been pet-sitting part-time professionally for the past 3 years, and have been caring for animals for family and friends my whole life. 

I currently have a small home which isn't suitable for a lot of animals, it is suitable for small/medium (maybe some large) mild-tempered dogs. I have close neighbours so I cannot mind dogs who bark a lot. I have a small backyard to use for bathroom breaks, or lounging in good weather, and we would walk and play daily. I can mind two dogs who are familiar with each other. But I do not usually mind more than one owner's pets at the same time. So your pet(s) will have a lot of attention.

I'm lucky to share responsibility for my gorgeous and gentle dog Bailey with my Mum. However, I have a lot of love for ALL animals, so this is my way of being able to care for more animals part-time. 

Usually Bailey stays with my Mum while I'm pet-sitting. However if they meet and get on really well that's a bonus for everyone and they can keep each other company. My schedule changes as I study locally and work from home. I try to keep the APP updated but as each animal has different needs each situation is unique. I hope to meet some nice people here and forge good relationships for the future that suit everyone, and most importantly, the pets! 

I feel a connection with animals, I let them be themselves and I follow their lead, making sure they feel safe is the most important thing, so I generally let them come to me. I let them have their space if that's what they need, or give them lots of pets and cuddles if that's what they need! 

I love all animals, I grew up with hens as a child and have a little experience looking after them and other fowl. So that is something we could discuss. Also I'm happy to water plants etc if needed.
