Hello! My name is Savannah and I am a Canadian living in Wicklow with my husband and our two pets. 🇨🇦🇮🇪 I have been living in Ireland for 4 years and I bring my active and adventurous nature into the way I care for animals.

I offer dog walking, pet sitting, and home visits in Wicklow, and I have over 10+ years of experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years I have worked with horses, dogs, cats, birds, and small animals, including roles in animal care, dog sitting, animal education, and at a grooming facility. This experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, body language, and how to create a calm and positive environment for pets.

My approach to pet care is calm, patient, and reward-based so that every animal feels safe, comfortable, and happy.

At home we have a 4-year-old Miniature Dachshund named Poppy and a 1-year-old Siamese cat named Paulie. Poppy is very gentle and friendly with other dogs and cats, and Paulie is a social cat who has grown up around dogs.

A typical day includes time in our garden, enrichment play, and a long daily walk (usually 7–10km) through the beautiful woodland trails around Wicklow. I believe exercise, mental stimulation, and allowing dogs to sniff and explore are very important for their wellbeing.

I am happy to care for dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as cats and small animals. I also have experience with:

• Following feeding schedules

• Administering medications when needed

• Maintaining structured routines for pets

• Providing enrichment and mental stimulation

My goal is always to treat every animal as if they were my own. Building trust, understanding each pet’s personality, and creating a calm environment are very important to me.

I only care for a small number of pets at a time so that each animal receives plenty of attention, exercise, and one-on-one care.
