I have recently moved into the area (Strokestown, Roscommon) with my rescue pet dog, Sage, and would like to get involved with helping people with their pets when they need walking or minding in my home. I can also do home visits to feed and let the dogs out. As my children have grown up now, I have time on my hands. I have always had dogs and will always rescue as too many need homes. I walk my dog twice a day, no matter what the weather, through the country side nearby but also travel to the beach or forest parks on occasions. Just want to help people who maybe are unable to get out with their pet dogs or are working. There may be people who are unwell and need their dogs walked so I would love to be able to help out in any way I can. I don't have professional dog walking or sitting experience but having always owned a dog, I feel I'm experienced enough. I love to meet new people and having just moved here I feel this would be a way of meeting like minded people. I am happy to walk or sit generally any dog. My dog is fully vaccinated and would prefer dogs who are also fully vaccinated.
I live on my own in a 3 bed semi detached house. The garden is fully enclosed. My dog has the full run of my house as after all she is family. She even sleeps with me so is basically spoiled rotten!! I am a car owner with a full driving licence so am able to travel to owners houses and have no problem with dogs being in my car.  I am fully vaccinated in respect of COVID.

I have recently rescued a 2nd dog, a 1 year Lab/Collie X, his name is Mack. He is a gentle soul and is very friendly with all dogs and people. He has actually been a very calming influence on Sage, who is still a nervous dog.
