About Fiona

Happy dog, happy holiday! As a fellow dog owner, I understand the trust it takes to leave your dog behind. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, happy, and treated like family.

Who we are:

We are a dog-loving family who have always had dogs as part of our lives, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Dogs are truly part of the family in our home, so when your dog stays with us, they’re treated like one of our own. I am a stay at home mum and now a FULL TIME dogsitter so my time will be dedicated to the wellbeing of your pooch 🐕 ❤️

Our house is safe, welcoming, and full of love, making it a fun and comfortable home-away-from-home while you’re away. We share our home with our fluffy Old English Sheepdog, Rocks, who adores other dogs and is always happy to have new friends come over to stay, play, and go for walks.

We also have children (8yrs - 16yrs) who love interacting with dogs, whether it’s playtime, gentle cuddles, or keeping them entertained throughout the day. We have experience with both young and old dogs and only take a maximum of 3 dogs into our home at one time to ensure they each get the one on one care and attention they require and deserve.

What we offer:

We offer a safe and loving home environment for dogs of all ages.  We’re happy to care for both young and senior dogs, provided they are "mostly" house trained. We completely understand that dogs may have accidents in new environments, and we also recognise that senior dogs may have occasional accidents due to age-related needs — this is absolutely not a problem and is always handled with patience and kindness.

We limit the number of dogs visitors to 2 or 3 max at any one time. We do this to ensure that each dog is getting lots of attention and care in a family environment that is not too busy. We want them to feel like they are still in a safe home environment rather than a dog boarding one which can be too busy and stressful for some dogs.

For the safety and wellbeing of all pets in our care, we require dogs to be neutered wormed and fully vaccinated before staying with us.

We believe every dog is unique, so we ask owners to be open and honest about any behavioural quirks or challenges (such as anxiety, reactivity, or special routines). This helps us provide the best possible care and ensure a positive experience for everyone.

Before confirming any booking, we require a meet and greet. This gives us the chance to get to know you and your dog and answer any questions you may have. It also gives us and you a better insight in making sure we’re the right fit for your pet’s needs. If your dog requires off leash exercise there is a dog park we visit that is close to our home but we mostly do onlead walking only to ensure saftey while you are away and go to woods, the beach and around the local area so your dog experiences something new and exciting every day.

I myself being a dog mum understand how difficult it is to leave your beloved dog when you want to go away. When we have travelled we tried both kennels and house sitters for our dogs and always left with a feeling of guilt and apprehension! I want to make sure you know they are happy and safe by giving you daily updates and reassurance when they are on their holiday with me. With plenty of attention, fun, and care, your dog will be safe, happy, relaxed, and well looked after —giving you total peace of mind to go and enjoy your travels.🐾

At this time, I’m unable to care for dogs on the restricted breed list, but I’m happy to answer any questions you may have!
