Hi, I’m Marcela!

Back in Chile I grew up with cats, dogs — from small Chihuahuas to big Labradors — and I’ve also cared for chickens and birds. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities.

*What I offer in D5:* 

- *Dog walks*: Twice a day, 30 minutes each 

- *Drop-in visits*: Up to 1 hour at your home for feeding, playtime, cleaning, and lots of attention

- *Area*: I mainly cover Dublin 5, but I’m happy to travel further if you’re near a DART station

*How I keep your pet safe + comfortable:*

- *Before walks*: I check the area first so I know what to expect — foot traffic, bikes, busy roads, etc. I also ask you in advance about your pet’s needs: Do they prefer to run and sniff? Are cars or bikes a trigger? Any food allergies? This applies to home visits too.

- *Nervous/anxious dogs*: I go slow and let your dog set the pace. I avoid what’s causing their stress and use positive reinforcement the moment they calm down, so they learn walks and visits are safe.

- *Emergencies*: First, I assess how serious it is and if anyone else is involved. My priority is making sure your pet is safe and getting care right away. I’ll contact you as soon as possible to keep you updated.

- *Multiple pets*: I’m happy to care for 2 pets at once. For walks, 2 is my max — more than that gets difficult to manage safely. For drop-ins, I can handle more at home.

*My policy*: Flexible cancellations — cancel up to 1 day before, by 12:00 pm, with no charge.
