Hi! I’m Micaela, a lifelong animal lover originally from Argentina and now living in Dublin.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had dogs, cats, a rabbit and even a parrot, and over the years I’ve also rescued and fostered many animals, including cats and dogs, puppies and adults.

I’m currently living in Dublin, but I had to leave my two cats, who are very much like my children, back home in Argentina when I moved here. I miss them terribly, and I realised how much I miss having animals around me every day. That’s one of the main reasons I decided to become a pet sitter — I would love to give your pets the same love, attention and care I give my own, and also I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave your pets with someone else. Having had to leave my own cats in Argentina, I understand the worry that comes with it, and I’ll do my very best to give your pets all the love, attention and care they deserve.

I’m comfortable with all the little things that come with caring for a pet — walks, feeding, playtime, keeping them company, grooming, nail trimming and administering medication when needed. I’ve also had experience caring for animals who needed extra attention and patience.

I started taking care of my own dogs when I was around 12 years old, including taking them for their daily walks three times a day. I’m comfortable walking more than one dog at a time and understand how important it is to keep pets safe, happy and comfortable while their owners are away.

I currently live in Portmarnock and unfortunately can’t have pets in my own home, so pet sitting feels like the perfect way for me to stay close to animals while giving them the care and companionship they deserve.

I’m happy to travel by public transport and can also stay overnight at your home when needed. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so my priority is making sure they feel safe, relaxed and cared for while you’re away.
Every pet has their own personality, routine and little quirks, and I’m happy to take the time to get to know them. I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own. 🐾❤️
