Hi, I'm Annamaria — Anna to most people. I live on the greenway between Rochestown and Monkstown, and I offer 30-minute dog walks and 30-minute drop-in visits to dogs in that area.

I didn't grow up with a dog, but I've grown fonder of them every year. Whenever I visit family or friends I'm the one offering to take their dog out, and last summer I had the pleasure of looking after Lucy, a four-month-old pup — spaniel-pointer mum, Labrador dad — which was easily the best part of my summer.

I'm new to doing this as a service, and I'd rather be upfront about that than oversell myself. What I can promise is that your dog gets my full attention for the whole visit, and that I'll do exactly what you've asked, exactly the way you do it.

What I offer

Dog walking (30 minutes): I come to you and walk your dog around their own neighbourhood, on the routes they already know. Lead, harness and pace all as you prefer.

Drop-in visit (30 minutes): I call to your home for food and fresh water, a toilet break, and some company, play or a cuddle on the couch — whatever your dog is into.

Dogs I can care for

Any size up to a Labrador. Puppies and senior dogs are very welcome. I'm not able to take cats, dogs with a history of aggression or reactivity, dogs who need medication, or dogs with significant anxiety — only because I don't yet have the experience to look after them properly, and they deserve someone who does.

Practical details

I work US Pacific hours, which gives me a genuinely free stretch every weekday. I'm available Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm — the ideal midday break for a dog whose owner is out at work. I'm not available evenings, weekends or bank holidays.

I get around on foot, so I can look after dogs within walking distance of the Rochestown–Monkstown greenway. I don't drive, so I can't collect or drop off, or bring your dog to the vet. Happy to send photo updates during the visit if you'd like them — just ask
