Are you heading off for a break if so your dog is more than welcome to stay for a day or a few overnight's in the comfort of my dog friendly home "hotel" in the heart of the town of Monasterevin a town with great walks along the Grand Canal and Moore Abbey wood. 

As for myself I am a retired BER Assessor former farmer, company director of an engineering company, filling station operator,  and am free to give your dog time and take in your dog and bring him / her for a daly walk. (I do a 5 k walk a day myself).

Your dog will be indoors sharing the house with just my self and my lovely 12 year old Jack Russell "Archie" 

My back garden is secure with a 2 meter high back wall and rear entrance gate. 

As for experience I regularly mind 7 mixed breed large dogs on a stud farm in the Calverstown area of County Kildare. Feeding and takeing the dogs for walks around the farm and vet visits on occasion.

I have experience in administering medication if your dog so needs.
