Hello, my name is Edel. I am a college student who has a passion for caring for animals. I have grown up around dogs my whole life and spending time around them has always brought me a sense of calm, joy and purpose. My first family pet was a beautiful border collie and for the last 8 years I have lived with my lurcher, Zena. I have a lot of experience giving her regular walks, feeding, medication, play and rest. I’m someone who has always felt a natural ease and warmth around animals, and that connection is a big part of why I’m drawn to pet sitting and dog walking. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s personality—whether they are shy and need patience and gentle reassurance, or are energetic and can’t wait to explore the outdoors. I believe that animals have a way of bringing out the best in people and I am very motivated to provide your furry friend the care they need, whether that's offering companionship, cuddles or a long, satisfying walk in the fresh air.

I am based in the lucan area but am open to travelling to other nearby areras if required. I am available Monday and Wednesday afternoons/evenings and all day most Friday, Saturday and Sundays. I offer dog walking sevices and pet sitting visits at your pets' home. I am flexible with lengths of walks/ house visits and am happy to discuss what works best for you.
