I've always had a love for animals and grew up with family dogs, including a Miniature Schnauzer and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Having a vet in the family was also a big influence and helped me develop a genuine understanding of the care, patience, and attention pets need.

I offer a comfortable home with a secure back garden, a cosy sitting room, and plenty of nearby walking opportunities, including local parks and beautiful forest/mountain areas for adventures and playtime. I’m happy to provide overnight stays, dog walking for up to 2 hours at a time, or daycare tailored to your pet’s needs.

I work from an office 3 days per week, so from Friday to Monday I’m usually home full-time and able to give your dog plenty of company and supervision. As I work close by, I can also easily come home during lunch breaks to check in, provide a 30 minute walk, or spend time with dogs who are comfortable with a little more independence.

Although I’m new to Pawshake, I have cared for dogs belonging to family and friends, including stays of up to 6 weeks, and I’m happy to provide references on request. I’m hoping to welcome my own dog in the next 12 months, and until then I’d love to give your dog a loving home away from home, with plenty of care, attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I know leaving your dog with someone new can feel daunting, so I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to understand your dog’s specific needs, routines, and personality, as well as answer any questions you may have. This also gives your dog a chance to get familiar with me and their new environment. I’ll provide regular updates and photos during their stay, reply promptly, and make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
