Hi, I'm Somya, a lifelong pet lover based in Dublin 7.

I've adored animals for as long as I can remember. I was one of those kids that came up with a new srategy a week to convince my parents to let me have a pet of my own, and that soft spot has never once left me — wherever I go, I'm that person crouching down to say hello to every dog or cat nearby. I've always felt instantly at ease around them, whether they belong to friends, neighbours, or a stranger.

For the last couple of years I lived with housemates who regularly minded dogs, so having a wagging houseguest to feed, play with, and cuddle became a happy part of my everyday life — honestly the bits of the day I looked forward to most. That's exactly why I'm here: I'd love to care for your pet as if they were my own, with all my attention and none of the distractions, as I'm fully available at the moment.

What I offer (for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes):

• Dog walking — 30-60 minute walks, tailored to your dog's pace and energy.
• Doggy day care — your dog spends the day with me, with two walks included as standard.
• Home visits — drop-in check-ins for feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, play and company.
• Overnight boarding — your pet stays with me in a warm, loving, and lived-in home.

My home: I live in a friendly residence in Dublin 7 with my husband and a flatmate — both animal lovers, both happy to have a furry guest around. We're surrounded by green space, walking paths and open areas to run and play, in a complex full of dogs I love saying hello to, so your pet will be in genuinely good company.

A few things to know:

• I'm happy to provide pick up/drop off services within reasonable hours of the day.
• I'd love to do a meet-and-greet before any first overnight stay, so that you, your pet and I can all get comfortable with each other.
• I care best for dogs who are friendly with people and other dogs and are content in an apartment setting.
• I'm happy to talk through any routines, quirks, medications or special needs — the more you tell me, the better I can look after them.
