Hello! My name is Impi (Amy), and I offer calm, low-volume home dog care & one-to-one walks in Douglas, Cork 🐾

I provide a relaxed family-home environment with a strong focus on safety, routine, reliability, and genuine individual attention — never a crowded kennel-style setup.

I offer:
• One-to-one walks
• Small, carefully matched group walks
• Home visits
• Limited daycare and home boarding in a calm family environment

I know every dog is different. Some love social adventures with dog friends, while others are happiest on a quiet solo walk with plenty of attention and calm handling. I keep my services intentionally low-volume so each dog gets the care, consistency, and supervision they deserve.

I also offer longer forest walks and beach adventures for energetic dogs who need more than a quick walk around the block 🌲🌊

Walk options available:

• Calm, one to one walk
• Small, carefully matched group walks (2-3 dogs max
• Longer woodland & beach adventure walks
• Additional services and longer adventure walks can be arranged depending on your dog’s needs ☺️

I have a full licence and a large car, and I’m happy to offer pick-up/drop-off within Cork city for daycare adventure days (small additional charge).

We live in Douglas, surrounded by lovely green areas, and share our home with our golden retriever Méabh, our two gentle school-age children, and our two older rescue cats.

Dogs staying with us are treated as part of the family. They have full access to the indoors at all times, plenty of company throughout the day, cosy places to snooze, and a calm home environment with lots of supervision and affection.

I am a full-time mum and pet minder, so boarding and daycare dogs are very rarely left alone for more than an hour. Dogs also enjoy at least two walks per day, and weekend boarders will often join us for a complimentary longer forest or beach outing alongside Méabh 🐕

Daycare and boarding are kept intentionally limited, and are best suited to dogs comfortable around children and a friendly, bouncy golden retriever. The cats mostly stay upstairs behind a stairgate, so calmness around cats is preferred but not essential.

I grew up surrounded by animals and have always believed pets are part of the family. When dogs stay with us, they are cared for with the same attention, patience, and affection as our own.

For safety and comfort within the home:
• Male dogs over 12 months must be neutered for daycare/boarding
• I cannot accept female dogs in heat for boarding
• All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and flea/worm treatments
