Hello! My name is Impi (Amy), and I offer calm one-to-one dog walks, daycare and limited home boarding in Douglas, Cork 🐾

I have a full clean licence and a large car, making me a great fit for busy owners who need reliable daytime walks, visits or daycare. I'm happy to offer pick-up/drop-off within Cork city (small additional charge).

I know every dog is different. Some love social adventures with dog friends, while others are happiest on a quiet solo walk with plenty of attention and calm handling. I keep my services intentionally low-volume so each dog gets the care, consistency, and supervision they deserve.

I also offer longer forest walks and beach adventures for energetic dogs who need more than a quick walk around the block 🌲🌊

We live in Douglas, surrounded by lovely green areas, and share our home with our golden retriever Méabh, our two gentle school-age children, and our two older rescue cats.

Dogs staying with us sleep wherever they feel most comfortable — always indoors. Our own pup usually sleeps on the sofa, and visiting dogs are very welcome to join her; she absolutely loves other dogs and has no guarding tendencies. If your dog is used to sleeping in a crate or their own bed, please feel free to bring these along too, as familiar comforts can really help them settle in happily. Favourite toys or chews are always welcome as well 🐾

I am a full-time mum and pet minder, so boarding and daycare dogs are very rarely left alone for more than an hour. Dogs also enjoy at least two walks per day, and weekend boarders will often join us for a complimentary longer forest or beach outing alongside Méabh 🐕

Daycare and boarding are kept intentionally limited, and are best suited to dogs comfortable around children and a friendly, bouncy golden retriever. The cats mostly stay upstairs behind a stairgate, so calmness around cats is preferred but not essential.

I grew up surrounded by animals and have always believed pets are part of the family. When dogs stay with us, they are cared for with the same attention, patience, and affection as our own.

For safety and comfort within the home:
• Male dogs over 12 months must be neutered for daycare/boarding
• I cannot accept female dogs in heat for boarding
• All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and flea/worm treatments
