Hi! I’m a caring, reliable and enthusiastic dog lover who would be delighted to look after your furry friend and give them plenty of love, attention and companionship.

Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I grew up with my beloved Havanese, Nala, who was part of my family for 14 wonderful years. She recently passed away peacefully due to old age, and caring for her throughout my life taught me how important it is to make a dog feel safe, loved and comfortable. My experience with Nala gave me a real understanding of the responsibility that comes with caring for a pet and the special bond we share with them.

I’m currently a student living in accommodation in Cork, so unfortunately I’m unable to host pets in my own home. However, I’d love to help with dog walking, home visits or pet sitting in your own home, depending on your needs and my availability.

I’d be happy to take your dog on walks suited to their age, energy level and individual needs, whether that means a gentle stroll or a more active walk. I can also provide company, playtime, feeding and fresh water during visits. I understand how important routine is for dogs, so I’d always do my best to follow your instructions and keep their usual schedule.

I know that every dog has their own personality and that some may need extra patience, reassurance or a little time to feel comfortable with someone new. I’d take the time to get to know your dog and make sure they feel secure and cared for. I’m also happy to follow your instructions regarding feeding routines, medication, behavioural needs and any special requirements, provided we discuss these beforehand.

You can expect me to treat your home with respect, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure your dog is safe throughout my visit. I’d also be happy to send you updates and photos while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing how your furry friend is getting on.

I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved pet with someone else, and I would never take that responsibility lightly. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog, learn about their routine and help make sure they feel happy, comfortable and loved while you’re away.
