I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been around pets my entire life. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and becoming a pet sitter allowed me to combine that passion with helping others. During university, I worked as a pet sitter and absolutely loved the experience. It gave me the opportunity to meet amazing people and care for wonderful pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Building trust with both owners and their pets was one of the most rewarding parts of the experience.

Now that I work a hybrid job, I have the flexibility and time to dedicate to pet care again. My schedule allows me to provide morning, midday, and evening walks, regular drop-in visits, playtime, companionship, and overnight stays when needed. Walks are usually between 30 minutes and one hour depending on the dog’s age, energy level, and routine. Because of my flexible schedule, pets are rarely left alone for long periods, and I always make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise throughout the day.

I also have experience caring for pets of different ages, including puppies and senior dogs, and I am comfortable adapting to their individual needs and routines. I am patient with anxious or shy pets and always allow them time to feel comfortable and build trust at their own pace. I can also handle energetic dogs or dogs that pull on the lead by staying calm, attentive, and consistent during walks. My home has a secure fenced patio where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, relax, and get fresh air when the weather is nice.

For safety and comfort, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home and I prefer gradual introductions when meeting new pets or when more than one dog is staying with me. I usually only care for a small number of pets at a time so I can give each animal the attention and care they deserve. In any unexpected or emergency situation, I stay calm, act responsibly, and communicate quickly with owners to make sure their pets receive the best possible care and support.
