Hi there, my name is Rachel and I am a 4th year veterinary medicine student in UCD. I absolutely adore animals and I have plenty of experience with animals of all kinds and sizes. I have some training in animal health care already so would be capable of administering medication for your pet, should they need it, and I also have education in basic animal training and behavior, through college. I was inspired to join Pawshake after hearing about how successful my friends have been with this app and I hope to gain similar experiences. I do have my own wonderful dog Sally; a cavapoo, so I am familiar with the walking routes in the area and I am available to provide services such as dog walking, dog sitting during the day and also overnight. I am available mid week and in the evenings on weekends. My walks would normally be about a half hour to an hour long depending on your dogs needs, and some of my regular routes would include the Baldoyle to Portmarnock greenway and the Burrow beach. I am happy to travel if you live far from me although public transport is essential as I don't drive. I am easy to reach on my phone and would send regular updates on how your furry friend is doing, and if your time away is extensive, I am happy to carry out basic tasks in your home should you require it eg. water plants / collect the post etc. I would be delighted to care for your pet and I would really appreciate if you considered me when looking for your next pet sitter !
