Hello! My name's Sarah. I am a 24-year-old PG student in Environmental HIstory at TCD. I am half Italian and half Spanish, but grew up in northern Italy.
My motivation to work as a pet/dog sitter obviously comes from my endless love for animals and dogs especially. I have two dogs back at home in Italy that I miss so much, thus being given the opportunity to work with dogs as a dog sitter/carer here in Dublin would be amazing for me.
I love any part of taking care of and working with dogs: walking them, cleaning tasks and bathing, playing, petting, teaching etc. Although I have never officially worked as a dog sitter before (mainly because already having two dogs to take care of at home was taking much of my day time), I think I am very well suited to work as a dog sitter, especially because I have been working alongside dog trainers for almost two years (for my dogs' training) during which I have learnt many precious information about dogs' behaviour, care, and training more in general. Moreover, I keep myself constantly updated through books, blogs, articles etc. Therefore, I think I will be able to handle almost any situatuion, also (if you'd like to) helping with behavioural issues or providing basic training tools and advices to improve your relationship with your pet.&nbsp;
Furthermore, I have aquired in-person experience while I was working in a dog shelter in Morocco with Morocco Animal Aid (a non-profit animal association fighting for the rescue and wellbeing of stray dogs in the country). My main tasks were to take general care of all the animals at the shelter, that means providing for food, health and cleaning services, giving medications, walking the dogs, solving any dogs' issues, preventing fights, dealing with traumatised dogs or any other delicate background of the dog. This experience taught me different important things: on one hand, I learnt to handle many dogs at the same time; on the other hand, it taught me a lot more about dogs' lives and behaviour, and especially it helped me realising more profounfly why I so much love dogs and want to take care of them, even if that means getting my hands dirty or encountering difficult and/or really sad, avoidable situations.&nbsp;
To sump up, one of the things I appreciate the most about working and spending time with dogs is the psychological benefits we both get from it (especially us humans from dogs): in my opinion, a dog can teach and help us more than we can teach and help them (e.g. pet therapy), thus being able to give dogs high-quality, joyful breaks and playful/construvtive teachings makes the dog's and my day instantly better.
Underneath, I will give more detailed information about my services and availabilities.
In the services I offer are included: dog sitting (house sitting, house visits, dog walks) and doggy day-care at the pet’s house. Note that unfortunately I don’t have a car (though I have an European driving license) so I would be able to drive your pet to the vet if provided with a car or if there’s a pet hospital/veterinary clinic nearby at walking distance (for instance, if I had clients in Palmerstown where I currently live, my house and the park are really close to a vet clinic).&nbsp;
I am not a vet of course, but I can administer medications to dogs, I’ve always done it with my dogs and to other dogs while I was working at the dog shelter. In any case, if your pet(s) needs specific medication I will of course learn how to administer said medications with no problem at all (if you'd like me to). Accordingly, I am not a certified dog trainer or groomer, but I have some self-taught, progressed experience in the field (I worked along dog trainers for almost 2 years) and I am able to teach the basics regarding dog training and behavioural issues. As for grooming, I can provide for the basics services (e.g. brushing, bathing, general cleaning after each walk, teeth brushing, ear cleaning etc…).&nbsp;
Unfortunately, I live in a rented and shared house so I am not formally and physically able to do dog boarding, but I can do house sitting at the owner's house, house visits and so on. I can handle up to three/four dogs at a time (also depending on the size, this is something that has to be decided later on with all due details and information).&nbsp;
My dog walks can be as long as you want them to be, though in my opinion they should be of at lest 45 minutes for the dog to fully enjoy it and get the most out of it. I can offer up to two/three dog walks per day. I usually prefer to walk dogs in green areas, in parks for instance, rather than on the street (in green areas there are many more smells thus information for your dog to acknowledge, and smelling is an essential part of your dog’s walk and general wellebeing: in fact, it has de-stressing benefits and it's a high-energy-consuming activity, so the dog will be quite tired in the end.
Daily, I can spend many hours with dogs, it just really depends on your needs, the pet’s needs and how all of this fits well with your and my timetables, but this is something we can sort out once you contact me. Generally, I might be able to spend from around 4-5 hours up to 8-10 hours a day with pets, either in the mornings, afternoons or even evenings. For instance, on the weekends I am totally free all day long.  Moreover, I won’t need to leave the house for work or study during pet sitting thus I will be able to look after and take care of your dog at all times, never leaving them alone unless I know I am permitted to. I can also supervise guest pets 24/7.&nbsp;
During home visits, I will be able to stay with pets at all times, caring for them and doing everything you ask me to regarding the more general house duties, like watering plants, bringing in mail, checking in deliveries etc., if necessary.&nbsp;
Finally, I also offer house sitting at the owner’s home: I can stay there for several hours, either in the morning, afternoon or evening. During this time, I will provide for anything you ask me to, taking any home security measure necessary (e.g. putting on the alarm, not leaving anything dangerous around for the dog, closing every door or window from which the dog could escape if that is an issue, etc.).&nbsp;

I work as a software engineer and work from home all the time. I minded around 70 cats till now and I am always booked with house sitting at my home or cat's home.&nbsp;&nbsp;

1. Daily Fresh water(Can add D-Mannose if your baby has UTI or urinary infections)

2. 15 mins individual play session in morning and evening ( rest of the day and night they will have loads of toys and my kittens to play with them)&nbsp;

3. Usual meal timings are 9AM-3PM-9PM but incase you have different i can give them separate.&nbsp;

4. And general services to all kitties like clean litter box all the time, clean plates and warm environment.

5.If they want to sleep with humans they can sleep with us as well ️

6.They will not be crated at all.&nbsp; They will be free to Rome anywhere in the house.

7. I can walk them on leash for 10 mins ( depends on the weather) in my backyard.&nbsp;

8. They will be introduced with my kittens with cat introduction technique and if they don't get along with my resident kitties, we have spare room.&nbsp;

However, I always had a dog the entire time I lived in Brazil, I have two girls “Dora” and “Duda” who live with my family in Brazil. My apartment has a good space and area to walk around the building too. I'm very passionate about making sure that the dogs in my care are given a home from home. I love walks around the village, runs in the park or fields with a furry friend in tow. Our day starts with dropping my children to school and then straight out the door for hour long walk around the village or a run around the enclosed fields behind my home. Weather dependant the dogs can then snuggle up and snooze by the fire in my kitchen while I make dinner or do house work. They are allowed to roam the full house and garden as long as I'm with them. We have a big garden, so after the snooze they love to head back outside for some ball play. The dogs are only in their pens while I'm collecting the kids which takes 20mins max. If they are staying overnight they'll sit with us in the kitchen or sitting room till I'm going to bed and will then be put in their pens snug as a bug. I have 3 children, 12,10, 7 and we have 1 dog Maisie who is a rescue she's 11. Her pal Millie passed away 18 months ago and she's been lost ever since without her bestie. That's how I got into minding dogs as they're great company for her because I just wasn't ready to replace Millie she was a wonderful dog.&nbsp;

HiMy name is Louise and I have a daughter Elisha (13) we love dogs, nothing nicer than bringing a dog to Castletown for a long walk and then a snuggle on the couch after.&nbsp;&nbsp;I normally only take one dog at a time but occasionally take two if a friend is stuck etc,&nbsp;so we can give enough attention and love to your dog. Unfortunately I don't take bull breeds and dogs must be neutered.&nbsp;We both have grown up with dogs all our lives and take care of my parents dogs Yorkie and Chihuahua (both rescue dogs) when they away. They love coming to our house for walks and cuddling up on the sofa in the evening.  We are use to small and medium size dogs.We would provide any dog who comes to stay with us a warm friendly environment. Walks around Castletown park and Celbridge and treated like one of the family. We can send videos pictures of them out walking or relaxing after walk. We have a lovely  new house with nice back garden with 6 foot wall around and we tend to have the back door open as house is very warm so dog can come in and out as they please, or just relax on couch/dog bed. I am Emma griffin. I have had a love for animals my entire life always walking neighbours dogs as a grew up taking them everywhere I would go feeling bad they were not walked enough.
I have a dog Bobby who is 13 in my home so I would only take vaccinated dogs&nbsp;
Bobby has no longer any teeth as he has gum disease so his tongue sticks out constanly which we find hilarious
I use mental aswell as physical exercises for the dogs so they have the most fun.
I like getting to know each dogs individual personalities and quirks.

i am registered as a canine first responder aswell I have done a few courses in canine behaviour which I found extremely interesting and would love to further my education in that.
In the course I done it talks a lot about warning signs of dogs getting stressed and since then I have been able to help my dog become more relaxed in stressful situations especially while being groomed as he would get very worked up before.
every dog I would be walking or minding would be treated as my own every dog deserves the world and should be treated as so.
