Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Maynooth Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Maynooth cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Maynooth cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Love animals big and small. I use this app when my own pet needs to be cared for while I am away.
I have a 4yr old golden retriever, she is good natured, enjoys meeting, playing with other dogs, and kids. I ensure she has routine of good food, love and exercise as she deserves.
Working from home, I have the flexibility to ensure she always has the comfort of company and can ensure yours does also. Any dog I sit, will be in a quiet relaxed environment. Your dog will have an enclosed walled garden to explore during bathroom breaks and can join me on short or long walks along the canal, forest and parklands in the surrounding areas in Celbridge(depending on preferences).
I will ensure always your dog is on lead and safe. Having as much fun as possible during their stay or during walks.
Happy to provide photos, videos also during their visit and administer medication should they require due to age. Please reach out to see if I am the right match for your needs.
Looking forward to meeting you and your pet :)

About Our Dog Friendly Family Hi! I'm Arianna, I live in Dublin 15 with my boyfriend Ciarán and our two lovely little dogs, Ted and Diana. We've owned dogs for all our lives and also have experience in looking after friends and family dogs.Me and my partner absolutely love animals, especially dogs and we are looking forward to care for your pets ️We have no roomates, it's just me and my partner living in the house. The house is spacious enough, on 2 floors and with a big living room area and a spacious dog friendly garden (fully fenced). We have 3 dog beds, and are happy for your pets to sleep with us on the couch or bed if that's what they are used to. The services we offer We are mainly offering dog boarding, dog walking, doggy day care, home visits and house sitting. Our walking times depends on our availability for the day, but always try to go out for an hour a day at least. We also have two cars and we enjoy going out for long walks at the beach or mountains if possible, or to one of the many local dog parks. We care about your pets and their individual needs, and have experience in looking after dogs, mainly small to medium size. As we have two dogs, we would prefer to take just one pet at the time. However it depends from the size of the pet and their behavior. We are happy to take more than one dog if well trained and also to meet prior to the final booking to make sure they get along well with our dogs For house sitting services, our availability depends on the requirement of the dog/owner. If not working we are happy to stay as long as needed, and provide extra support (water plants, etc) in line with security measures. Included in the services:- we can administer tablets medicationsNot included in the services:- dog grooming- pet training- injection medications or other specific type of medication. Availability We are mainly available during weekends, for the whole day and night.During the week we would be available mainly in the evenings, however we can make ourselves free during the week days as well - depending on the dog and the service requested. We are able to offer 24/7 care.My partner also works from home which allow us to look after your pets constantly. Our dogs We have two dogs, one female, 3 yo jack russel/whippet mix named Diana and one male, 2 yo mini golden doodle named Ted. Both neutered and fully vaccinated. They are both very playful and friendly with other dogs and have boarded with other dogs previously. We are very comfortable to have the dogs inside the whole house. Our dogs love cuddles, and often keep us company on the couch or sleep with us in bed and we are happy to treat your pets the same way A Few Small Requirements For safety reasons we just require all dogs to be fully vaccinated and preferably neutered. We would also suggest to organise a quick meeting before any booking to make sure that the dogs get along well.

I have always loved animals since I was little, and getting to spend a day with new pets every day is more than anything I could dream of. I love every kind of pet: cats, dogs, bunnies, and many others. Being around animals makes me happy, and I enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my love and passion for animals. I understand that pets are important members of the family, and I always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I am patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s needs.

I have experience caring for pets belonging to family members since I was five years old, and I also have taken care of friends’ pets. This has helped me learn how to care for different animals and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and affection they need.

For the health and safety of all animals, I prefer that pets are vaccinated before staying in my home. My goal is to provide a loving, trustworthy, and enjoyable experience for every pet in my care.

[Maynooth Location only]
[~1 day per week / flexible / short term]
Hey there I'm Ro.
I'm based in Maynooth, and work in Marketing.
My own dog is Blu, a 5 year old small Pomsky-Maltese who loves people and dogs and likes lots of exercise, walks, and runs each day.
I work from home and try to get outdoors as much as possible before I open my laptop in the mornings both for my own health and for Blu's.
I do brisk 30-45minute walks that include different routes for variety in smells & terrain, socialising, long-lead running & playing, and sniff & search games so that you can end your day knowing your dog is fully tired out & mentally stimulated.
I offer pet home visit services, dog walking, and doggy daycare.
I am currently booking on a short term basis for ~1 visit / walk per dog per week due to high demand and work constraints.
Feel free to share any commands, habits, and preferences you have for your pup.
Pop me a message if you have any questions or request for availability outside of the above schedule.
