Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Donnybrook Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Donnybrook cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Donnybrook cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi there! I'm Natalia Cechinel, a 25-year-old animal lover with a heart full of love for furry (and not-so-furry) friends. Growing up surrounded by pets, I've cared for dogs, cats, and even a turtle — so I truly understand how much they mean to us. I had a loyal dog by my side for 10 years, and I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy to look after your pet when you can’t be there.
I currently work as a hotel receptionist five days a week, but I have a flexible schedule and I’m more than happy to adapt to your needs. I'm responsible, organized, and I always treat every animal like they’re my own — with care, patience, and lots of love. Whether it’s for walks, cuddles, or company while you’re away, you can count on me to keep your pet safe and happy.

I'm Carla, have been a dog owner for nearly five years now to Arthur is a British Bulldog whom I take to the park daily for fun off lead time. He's a medium sized dog, strong but very well trained. He comes everywhere with us and is very much part of our family. As most people here, I am dog obsessed, my services would include, walking and taking care of any type of dog as long as they are trained and can take them on long walks or off lead on a safe area if thats what they are used to. I am an active person and happiest when outdoors, I'm friendly, kind towards all beings, especially our fur babies, punctual and reliable and would love to hear from you. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have as I know how precious our pets are to us all.

Hi, my name is Maria and I love all types of animals. I love going for walks as much as any dog. I have had a mix of pets in my family and owned myself and so I can offer to pet sit or house visit:DogsCatsFishRodents eg Hamster/gerbilsSmall bird breedsRabbitGuinea pigI'm renting at the moment with my partner but not allowed any pets other than our hamster. My motivation for setting up the app was to fulfill my need for more pets, especially dogs We live in Donnybrook so there is plenty of nice roads and park areas close by where I go on walks regularly so thought why not bring a dog along for company and offer a dog walk service within close distance when I/we are available. I have a car so I can travel to close by areas for pet sitting and collecting dogs for walks. I work from home 3 days a week so I could do lunch time and evening walks/house visits on weekdays. Weekends we can sort that out too. I am my friends and family go-to person when they go away and need someone to do drop in house visits or pet sit for a couple of hours for their cats and dogs. I can hopefully ease any worry you have when trusting their pets with other people. I am 100% trustworthy and will make sure your baby will be looked after whether that's on walks or house visiting. Cant mind other people's cats and dogs in my own home but could take a small pet to board like a hamster. Please note info for dog/cat sitting in your home rate:* €90 is for a 12hr period day or night stay with your cat or dog in your home. *Includes constant supervision and companionship for your pet staying at your home*Walks/feeding/medication/ playtime & general care of your pet and your home. The app design is very limiting in how to set rates & include info on the services so hence why Iv added here. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fur baby/s

Hello, my name is Átila Rezende Martins, I'm Brazilian and I'm studying English here in Dublin. I have always worked in rural areas, living with large and small animals. In January 2025 I will bring my dogs Beca and Guta, two Jack Russells who are almost 2 years old and have a lot of energy and love to give. It would be great to be able to take them for a walk with other little friends. Until then, I will be very happy to take care of your little animal. I can take your pet for a walk on the street and in the neighborhood parks, if necessary I can also go to the pet's house to provide food, water and administer medication, I take the opportunity to arrange plants and collect correspondence. Tours and visits can take place in the afternoon and evening and last approximately 1 hour. My level of English is elementary at the mome. See you!

Hey there!
We are Maria and Francis (23 and 25yo), we are a couple that loves dogs and cats. We have always had a passion for animals and enjoy spending time with furry friends.
As pet owners ourselves, we understand the importance of finding reliable and trustworthy pet sitters who will give your pets the same love and attention you would give them yourself. We believe that pets are not just animals, but they are members of the family. We'll treat them like they're our own, ensuring that they are happy, healthy, and comfortable.
We are a responsible couple with a deep understanding of the unique needs of pets. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or just giving them lots of love and attention, we're always happy to go above and beyond to make sure your pets feel loved and cared for.
We're excited to join this app, because we moved to Dublin and our dogs and cats are not with us and we miss hanging out around tiny fluffy friends. We're available during the weekend for walks, playtime, and anything else your furry friend needs to stay happy and healthy. Let us know if you need us, and we'll be happy to help out! (Unfortunately we are not able to take pets in our home.)
Best regards,
Maria and Francis
