Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Clonskeagh Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Clonskeagh cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Clonskeagh cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Hi, my name is Maria and I love all types of animals. I love going for walks as much as any dog. I have had a mix of pets in my family and owned myself and so I can offer to pet sit or house visit:DogsCatsFishRodents eg Hamster/gerbilsSmall bird breedsRabbitGuinea pigI'm renting at the moment with my partner but not allowed any pets other than our hamster. My motivation for setting up the app was to fulfill my need for more pets, especially dogs We live in Donnybrook so there is plenty of nice roads and park areas close by where I go on walks regularly so thought why not bring a dog along for company and offer a dog walk service within close distance when I/we are available. I have a car so I can travel to close by areas for pet sitting and collecting dogs for walks. I work from home 3 days a week so I could do lunch time and evening walks/house visits on weekdays. Weekends we can sort that out too. I am my friends and family go-to person when they go away and need someone to do drop in house visits or pet sit for a couple of hours for their cats and dogs. I can hopefully ease any worry you have when trusting their pets with other people. I am 100% trustworthy and will make sure your baby will be looked after whether that's on walks or house visiting. Cant mind other people's cats and dogs in my own home but could take a small pet to board like a hamster. Please note info for dog/cat sitting in your home rate:* €90 is for a 12hr period day or night stay with your cat or dog in your home. *Includes constant supervision and companionship for your pet staying at your home*Walks/feeding/medication/ playtime & general care of your pet and your home. The app design is very limiting in how to set rates & include info on the services so hence why Iv added here. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fur baby/s

Hello, my name is Átila Rezende Martins, I'm Brazilian and I'm studying English here in Dublin. I have always worked in rural areas, living with large and small animals. In January 2025 I will bring my dogs Beca and Guta, two Jack Russells who are almost 2 years old and have a lot of energy and love to give. It would be great to be able to take them for a walk with other little friends. Until then, I will be very happy to take care of your little animal. I can take your pet for a walk on the street and in the neighborhood parks, if necessary I can also go to the pet's house to provide food, water and administer medication, I take the opportunity to arrange plants and collect correspondence. Tours and visits can take place in the afternoon and evening and last approximately 1 hour. My level of English is elementary at the mome. See you!

Hi there, I'm Ailis I'm a passionate and enthusiastic animal lover with over 6 years of pet care experience. I love all dog breeds and sizes and understand that your furry friend is more than just a pet - they're family. I offer personalised care, tailored to your dog's unique needs, ensuring they receive plenty of love, attention, and exercise. Whether it's a playful walk in the park, a cozy cuddle session, or administering special dietary needs, I am dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for your pup. As a pet owner myself, I will aim to treat your dog like my own, giving you peace of mind while you're at work or away on vacation. I'm available for daily, evening and weekend walks, home visits and overnight stays if needed. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to organise a meet and greet. Look forward to meeting you and your little pup ️

I miss my own fur baby every day, which is why I’m so excited to care for other dogs and give them the love and attention they deserve. I understand how special the bond is between pets and their owners, and how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog in safe hands.
I work a hybrid schedule and only go into the office around twice a week, based in Harcourt, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I lead an active lifestyle and love being outdoors, so your pup can expect regular walks, playtime and, if they’re comfortable and allowed, runs as well.
I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs and any specific preferences. I’m patient and gentle with nervous or shy dogs and will help them settle in gradually so they feel safe and comfortable.
I will make sure your dog feels secure and right at home while you’re away. I always tailor my care to suit each dog’s needs and personality, and their safety, routine and happiness are my top priorities.
I am comfortable caring for multiple dogs where appropriate and always ensure each dog receives individual attention. I stay calm and proactive in unexpected situations and would contact you immediately if any concerns arise. I am happy to care for small, medium and large dogs, and will always prioritise a safe and secure environment for them.
I typically take dogs on 1–2 walks per day depending on their needs, and on the days I am in the office I ensure arrangements are in place so they are not left alone for long. Dogs are welcome to relax and sleep comfortably in my home, and I always create a calm and safe environment for them.
You can count on me to treat your dog as if they were my own. References and reviews are available on request, and I would be delighted to be your dog’s temporary companion and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

Hello my name is Elva. I'm a fourth year vet student in UCD. I'm from Wicklow but I'm living up in Dublin during the week for college. I have ample experience with animals both from my home and from college thus far. At home we have two dogs, four cats and a handful of chickens. I miss spending time with animals during the week so I'd love the opportunity to walk or spend time with animals.
I'm enthusiastic and committed to providing your pets with the best care possible and I'm happy to fulfil any extra requirements your pet might need such as giving them medication. I'm used to dealing with senior pets and pets with extra medical requirements. I have experience pet sitting for multiple households with dogs thus far. I have a car so I'm willing to travel.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any further questions :)
