I have been an animal lover since childhood and had my first dog (a rescued collie cross) at age 8. Taking after my grandfather, I had a talent for training and connecting with animals. As a teenager, when I wasn't horse riding or doing yard work, I spent a lot of time grooming, walking and showing dogs as my aunt and uncle were Irish Kennel Club registered breeders of Bernese Mountain Dogs. As an adult I have fostered dogs, trained dogs, done house calls and walking services. I currently have two young cats and look foward to owning a dog or two again in the future. 

I understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family and will always approach them with patience, kindness and respect. I am very to happy to accommodate any extra needs your pet may have as their welfare is my number one priority. I am happy to answer any and all questions you may have prior, during, and after providing my services 


I can administer oral medication
I offer dog training and dog grooming and have a lot of experience in both. 

During hone visits I offer additional services such as plant care and mail collection. I also offer high quality cleaning services. 

A drop in home visit lasts 1 hour and this can consist of several activities such as walking, play, petting, grooming and simply relaxing. This is in addition to the standard safety checks in the home, cleaning food and water bowls, refreshing water, feeding, tidying any non-man made messes, insuring adequate ventilation etc. 

My walks can last anywhere up to an hour based on your pets individual needs or limitations. I am confident in dealing with moderate behavioural issues and have some experience at this level.

All logical security measures will be taken while I am trusted in your home. This can look like leaving the key in a specified safe place, checking all windows and doors are secure, any alarms are reset and a deterrent light left on if requested
