Hi! I’m Trudy, a friendly, responsible and caring pet sitter based in Dublin 24. I absolutely love animals and would be delighted to help look after your pets when life gets busy, you’re away, or they simply need some extra company and attention.

I’m a patient and attentive person and I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I’ll always take the time to get to know your pet, their personality, routines and individual needs, and I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection and care while you’re away.

I offer dog walking and drop-in visits, including feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime and plenty of cuddles. I’m also happy to care for cats and other small pets during drop-in visits. I’m particularly happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and any specific instructions you leave for me.

I've always been the person who's asked to watch the family and friends pets. People tend to tell me their pets warm quickly to me, even if they don't particularly like people. It's important to me to give an animal space and allow them to warm up to you. I also volunteer at the DSPCA as a dog walker where I've learned more about dog body language, breed requirements and dog care. I've also done some brief training courses on puppy training in the home. We've also fostered a gorgeous dog, Bruce while he was awaiting his home. He was a beautiful senior boy who had to have both eyes removed so rest assured I am able to accommodate any dogs needs

I’m self-employed and work in the performing arts, so my schedule is flexible and I can accommodate bookings around my work. I’ll always keep my availability up to date and only accept bookings that I can properly commit to.

Before a first booking, I’m very happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can get to know each other and you can show me your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my priority, and I’ll keep you updated during visits with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
