I want to be a pet sitter because being around animals is my favorite thing to do in my free time. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in Animal Veterinary Science. I am in my third year at UCD in the Veterinary Medicine program. As a vet student I study long hours and so I am looking for a break in the studying to enjoy time with the pets of this community. The house I currently live at in Dublin doesn't allow pets so I miss my dogs immensely. I have a lot of experience pet sitting back home in California so being able to do it here will make me feel more settled and less home sick. I have 5 years of experience working in a companion animal / exotic pet clinic so I am comfortable with any breed of pet. I also enjoy going on runs so if there's a high energy dog that benefits from getting a workout, I'm your girl! I am also experienced with having to administer medications to pets so please don't hesitate to ask if that's something your pet requries. Overall, I just want to be able to use my experience to help pet owners feel at ease when they have to leave their beloved pets.
