We are a family of four (mum, dad and two teenage girls) living in Sandymount. We recently lost our elderly dog and while the house is very quiet without her we are not ready to commit to a new family pet just yet. So in order to get some regular doggy company we are doing some occasional dogminding.

I work from home part-time and so there are usually always people in the house. We have a reasonably big and secure garden to play in and lots of great routes locally for dog walks. We only take one dog at a time (maybe two if from the same family). We have dog beds, toys etc, so you would only need to bring dog food and feeding instructions. Duration of daily dog walks will match whatever you do normally .

We are very flexible on drop off and collection times. For first-time guests, we offer a free 'introductory visit' whereby you leave your dog with us for 2/3 hours to make sure we all get along. 

Doggie guests must be neutered, vaccinated and up to date on their worm/flea tablets. 

Happy to give any required medication to the dog so long as the dog is happy to swallow it! Should any pet emergency arise we will phone you immediately to decide what to do. Worst case scenario our local vet is 2 minutes away and UCD animal hospital is a short drive away. 

The aim is to provide stress free dog minding so that you can focus on holidays/time away.

Update: now that school has restarted and life has gotten much busier we are currently only able to take weekend bookings for low maintenance dogs.
