A hearty, two-legged "Servus" from Dublin! I'm Sebastian, 30 years old, a non-smoker, tech worker, and huge dog enthusiast. I work in a home-office-friendly environment, meaning I'm around to keep your dog company and give them plenty of attention throughout the day. I don’t do this for the money - I simply do it because I genuinely love dogs and want to offer a welcoming environment! 

I had a dog of my own and have hosted 40+ dogs over the years. My ideal hosting situation is for a weekend or a long weekend. To ensure every dog gets proper attention and care, I prefer hosting either one dog at a time or two dogs if they already know each other - I do not host multiple unfamiliar dogs together.

About my experience:

I grew up with my dog Freddy (Jack Russell / Schnauzer mix) until I was 19. After he passed away, I volunteered at a dog shelter as a walker whenever I wasn't traveling. Through shelter work and hosting over 40 dogs, I've come into contact with virtually every type of dog— - large dogs, small, energetic, nervous, stubborn, or lazy. I love using this experience to make your dog’s stay as comfortable, safe, and fun as possible! 

During the day, I take dogs out for regular walks (2–3 times, ~30 minutes each), and in the evening, I often go jogging (5–10 km) for dogs that enjoy higher activity levels. 

Additional information:

1. My ideal hosting setup is overnight stays for a weekend or a long weekend. I am also open to daycare and walking on weekends. 

2. Your dog(s) must get along with cats, as Missy is always around the house. 

3. Only house-trained dogs are allowed in the home. 

4. Bed, toys, leash, and anything else your dog needs are welcome to be brought along. Well-behaved dogs are, of course, welcome to sleep in the bed from time to time. 

5. In your message, please describe your dog’s personality, especially any specific characteristics or traits I should be aware of in advance. I have worked with challenging dogs at the shelter, so difficult behaviors aren't an issue, but clear communication helps me adjust as professionally as possible.
