Hi! My name is Gabi, I’m a 41-year-old living in Ireland for the past 4 years, and dogs have been my greatest love since childhood.

I may not have formal experience on this app, but I have spent my entire life surrounded by dogs. Back in Brazil, my sisters run a rescue dog daycare so caring for dogs isn’t just something I do, it’s in my blood. Our family’s love for animals is something we grew up with and something I carry with me every single day.

This year, I said goodbye to my beloved pug James, who was 11 years old. Losing him broke my heart in ways I still feel. I even have tattoos of my dogs they are not just pets to me, they are family. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring them with me to Ireland, and that absence is something I feel deeply.

That’s exactly why I want to be a pet sitter. Being around dogs fills my soul. Your dog won’t just be “looked after” they will be loved, cuddled, and treated like the most important creature in the room. Because to me, they truly are ❣️

Here’s what a typical day with me looks like:

Every dog is different, and I respect that. Walk times are adapted to your dog’s age, breed, and energy level a young and energetic dog will get a longer, more active outing, while a senior or calmer dog will enjoy a relaxed, comfortable pace. During the day, I make sure your dog has plenty of attention, playtime, rest, and cuddles. I follow your routine as closely as possible, because consistency makes dogs feel safe.

I am able to administer simple medications such as tablets or drops as long as you provide clear instructions. When it comes to emergencies, my first step is always to contact you immediately and follow your guidance. Your peace of mind matters as much as your dog’s wellbeing, and I will never make important decisions without keeping you informed.

I am also comfortable with different dog behaviours and temperaments. Growing up around dogs of all kinds including rescues with complex histories has taught me patience, calm, and how to read a dog’s needs.

I am also building my life here in Ireland I am finishing my Accounting degree next year and working hard to create a future in this country I have come to call home. One of my biggest dreams is to one day have my own dog here too. Pet sitting is not just a job for me it is a way to stay close to what I love most while working towards my goals.
