Hi! My name is Aideen and I am an experienced animal lover and current Zoology student.

I have just moved to the South Dublin area and I am currently working in a Dog Groomers until I go back to college (Around mid-September). I have previously worked in animal shelters including Seal Rescue Ireland as well as smaller dog shelters, so I am confident when it comes to minding animals. I also grew up looking after my own dog Shadow and my two guinea pigs Billy Ray and Oscar, who I miss so much now that I am away from home! I am passionate and caring when it comes to animals and will always make sure your pet is looked after :)

**Please note I do not drive, so I can only accept bookings in the local vicinity/ public transport accessible areas**

Experience

As well as looking after my own pets, I have volunteered in a variety of places specialising in Animal Care, such as Carton Veterinary Clinic, Maynooth, the K.W.W.S.P.C.A. in Athgarvan, and Abbeyfield Farm & Equestrian Centre, Clane (Co. Kildare)

I also currently work as a Dog Grooming Assistant at Glamour Dogs

As an Animal Care Intern at Seal Rescue Ireland, I assisted in the daily husbandry and rehabilitation of rescued seals (preparation of daily animal diets, restraining seals, feeding by tube or freely, daily medical treatment including injections, and routine cleaning of enclosures/work stations)

Home visits

Unfortunately, I currently cannot keep dogs in my apartment as there isn't an outdoor area/ sufficient space. However, I'm also happy to visit your dog in your house while you are away!

Availability

I am available for walks in the local area before 9am on weekdays

I am also available after 3pm every day for home visits or walks

I am available all day on Sundays and Mondays

I am so excited to get to know some of you and your pets, I am a very friendly person and would love to meet for a chat and get to know you before you trust me with your pet. I will also keep you updated with cute pictures and videos of your pet while you are away!
