Hello! My name is Cassidy Palm, and I'm currently a 3rd year animal science student at UCD! I’ve worked at a vet clinic that had boarding services for 4 years throughout high school, and I go back and work over the summer breaks when I’m home from college! I have experience in caring for not only cats and dogs, but also exotic animals, such as lizards, turtles, and birds! I also have experience caring for high-need animals from working in a vet clinic, such as pets who require medicine administration, senior dogs who need assistance walking, or animals with special feeding needs. Along with that, I also grew up on a farm with cattle, pigs, chickens, and sheep, along with dogs and cats of my own! How I care for your pets is entirely up to you and your animals preferences. Home visits will typically include feeding and walking (if required), and obviously lots of loving on and playing with! Depending on my classes and your schedule, I'll probably spend 1-3 hours with your pet for drop-in visits. Overnight sitting hours will obviously be longer, as long as it's ok with you I'll probably spend most of my free time in your home with your pet! Walks are also accustomed to your animals energy levels and needs, for example I'd probably only walk a senior dog for 10-15 minutes if they were able, but an active puppy and I might go for an hour or so walk around town! My availability is pretty flexible, although I do have lectures all 5 weekdays, but before and after my lectures I'm looking forward to hanging out with and caring for your pets!
