I’ve loved cats since I was a child, growing up around them back home in Turkey — long before I got my own, I spent years looking after friends’ and neighbours’ cats too. I’m 29, and I’ve been living and working in Dublin as a professional for over 3 years now. My own cat, Meloş, is still back home — I haven’t been able to bring her over to Ireland yet, and I miss her every day. Spending time with other people’s cats genuinely helps fill that gap, so this isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I look forward to.
