Hi! I’m Lauren :) I have just started my Masters at TUD, going to school during the day Mon-Wed and work for myself in Portobello the rest of the week. I have over 15 years of experience pet sitting, from weeks old to seniors, small dogs to large dogs, and absolutely love being around animals. A couple years ago I started sitting on Trusted Housesitters as I traveled full time before settling in Dublin, so that I could enjoy being around and taking care dogs and cats (and, with THS, sometimes miniature ponies, tortoises, and chickens!). I fully understand the importance of your pet being able to stay in their own home and space during the day, go on their familiar walk routes or to their favorite park. I am very active so if your pup loves long walks, playing at the park or chasing a ball, they will be happily worn out! I also love a good couch snuggle, so they'll get lots of cuddles. I have extreme respect for other people's homes and property and will treat your home as I would my own. Whenever I am home in Nashville, I also foster puppies with a local rescue, Wags & Walks, until they find their forever homes - it’s been such a rewarding experience!

I offer home visits, daily walks from 30 minutes to 1 hour, and overnight stays. Since I work for myself, I am home most of the time, which means a lot of quality time with your pet! I have experience administering oral/topical medication, as well as caring for anxious and/or reactive dogs. I will take plenty of photos and videos for you, as I probably think your pet is just as cute as you do! My main priorities are making sure your pet is happy and healthy and that your mind is at ease while being away from them, knowing they're being well cared for. I would love the opportunity to hang out with and take care of your pet!
