I've been a dog lover my whole life, but about 5 years ago I started dogsitting and house sitting. I then realised how suited it was to my schedule and lifestyle, marrying together my love for dogs on the side of my marketing day job.

Since then, I’ve minded over 20 different dogs - from Rottweilers to Labradors, King Charles to Bichon Frise, even travelling abroad to stay with owners to mind their pets while they travel. I’ve minded older dogs nearing their end of life, caring for them and giving medications, to troublesome puppies being toilet trained. I have a knack for dog psychology and while I don’t have any qualifications, am very knowledgable about dog behaviours and how to train or work with them. Any previous dogsits have been done through friends and family, or through Trusted House Sitters.

I work remotely in a marketing role where I am home-based in my apartment in Dublin, but my office can be anywhere! I am open to housesitting, boarding, walking, whatever it is that you need and can be open to new locations too. I like to keep my roster small, so the dogs are familiar with me and provide consistency to build relationships and trust. I believe that it is in your dog's best interest to stay in their usual space while you travel to maintain routine and familiarity, while also boasting convenience for you as the owner, so this is usually my preference too.

We can't thank Michelle enough for looking after Winnie while we were in Australia.

After having a not so great first sit with someone else Michelle made us feel at ease instantly. She's so lovely and was so incredible with Winnie, the communication was great we had daily updates of their fun and she went above and beyond in looking after Winnie buying her treats and doggy cologne.

When we arrived home our flat was spotless and we had a very happy dog.

We highly recommend Michelle looking after your house/pup and we can't wait to have her sit again for us in the future!

Michelle was our house sitter for an energetic our 3 year old Labrador and 2 cats for a week in February. In our initial call, Michelle was enthusiastic and positive and together with her experience with bigger dogs I knew she would be the right fit for us. She kept me up to date with her travel arrangements and we chatted back and forth a few times as we got closer to the date in order to finalise everything. Whilst we were away we had daily updates and photos of her dog walks and cuddles on the sofa which totally put us at ease and we knew our dog was in good hands (the cats were a bit aloof with our new house guest!). It's clear Michelle is passionate about animals and puts all her energy into looking after them whilst you're on holiday. I would definitely want Michelle for us to sit for us again and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone else looking for a sitter. And I am totally happy to be a reference.

Michelle really feels like one of the family now - gosh, what a truly lovely lady! We all feel so lucky to have met her, and not least our dog Leo, who is totally in love!!

This was our first sit through Trusted Housesitters, so we were a little nervous, but right from the first chat Michelle put our minds at rest. And her calm, responsible, thoughtful & all round lovely personality really got put to the test when it came to the sit itself!! We all had everything organised and agreed well in advance...but all those plans got thrown into disarray when firstly my family all got ill delaying our departure, and then a Storm hit - all meaning multiple flight changes and lots of replanning.

Michelle was so calm, kind and understanding, and I just can't thank her enough for being so utterly brilliant throughout!

In terms of the sit itself, Michelle was totally respectful of our home and we came back from holiday to a gleaming and spotless house, some delicious homemade soup for our supper, and a VERY happy dog! Throughout the sit we'd received lots of photos of their walks and fun together so we were completely confident and it was very clear that Leo had made a wonderful new friend.

Michelle has looked over our house and pets on a number of occasions. She is extremely trustworthy, respectful of the space, and responsible in managing house upkeep and pet wellbeing. Our two cats love when Michelle is there, and I know that when she's house sitting, sometimes for weeks at a time, everything is in good hands.

We just returned from a trip and, as usual, the house was spotless and the cats were very happy. I highly recommend and endorse Michelle to keep on top of things for your house and as a companion for your pets. (Just try not to book her when we need her...)

Michelle has dog sat for us many times and is an incredibly person. She cares for Nala like her own dog while we are away and takes her on so many adventures. As a collie x husky she needs to be exercised regularly which Michelle always does.

Michelle is great at keeping us updated on all their adventures and is great at communicating with us while we are away. She is also a perfect house guest and is always respectful of our home.
