About Marina Luna
Hi! My name is Marina, and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with my two dogs, Bobby and Brisa, and my cat, Lilibeth. Bobby was my best friend for 13 wonderful years, and caring for him taught me the importance of patience, consistency, affection, and understanding each pet’s individual personality. One of my favourite memories is taking him for peaceful walks at sunset, which was always a special part of our daily routine.
Although I am new to professional pet sitting, I have many years of personal experience caring for dogs and cats. I understand that pets are part of the family, and I will always treat your pet with the same love, respect, and attention that I would want for my own.
I work from home, so pets staying with me will be by my side throughout the entire day. They will receive regular supervision, company, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of individual attention. In the evenings, my husband will also be at home with us, so your pet will continue to have company and care throughout the night. We both love animals and want every pet staying in our home to feel safe, relaxed, comfortable, and included as part of the family.
I live in a pet-friendly house with a secure back garden where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air, playtime, and regular toilet breaks. Dogs will never be left outside unsupervised, and I always make sure that doors and gates are properly secured before allowing them into the garden. Pets are welcome on the sofa or bed if that is part of their usual routine and has been approved by their owner.
I offer dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, and home visits.
Dog boarding includes overnight care in my home, feeding according to the owner’s instructions, regular walks, playtime, toilet breaks, supervision, cuddles, and photo updates.
Doggy daycare includes daytime care for approximately eight hours, with playtime, rest periods, walks, feeding when required, regular toilet breaks, and company throughout the day.
Dog walks will always be adapted to your dog’s age, fitness level, energy, behaviour, and usual routine.
Home visits usually last approximately 30 minutes and may include feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, litter tray cleaning, basic brushing, playtime, and companionship.
I am happy to care for friendly dogs and cats whose needs are suitable for my home environment. Before accepting a new pet, I prefer to arrange a meet-and-greet so that I can learn about their personality, feeding schedule, daily routine, behaviour around other animals and people, medical needs, fears, triggers, and any special requirements.
I may accept more than one pet at a time, but only when they are from the same household or have been carefully assessed as a safe and suitable match. New pets will be introduced gradually and under close supervision. They can be fed separately when necessary and will always have their own space to eat, sleep, rest, and relax. I will never place pets together if I believe that it could cause stress or create a safety risk.
For safety reasons, I cannot accept pets with a history of serious aggression or biting, animals that are not safe around other people or pets, or pets requiring injections or complex medical treatment. I can administer oral medication when clear written instructions are provided.
Owners should provide their pet’s usual food, lead, harness, medication, emergency contact details, veterinary information, and anything that may help them feel at home, such as a favourite bed, blanket, or toy.
In the event of an emergency, I will contact the owner immediately and follow their instructions. If urgent veterinary care is required and the owner cannot be reached, I will contact the nominated vet or the nearest appropriate veterinary clinic. I will always prioritise the pet’s safety and wellbeing.
I will also send regular photos and updates during your pet’s stay, so you can relax knowing that they are safe, happy, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention.
I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. My goal is to provide a calm, safe, and loving home where every pet feels cared for from the moment they arrive until they return to their family.
