About me

Hi! I’m Juliana, a passionate dog lover living in Portlaoise.

I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and couldn’t imagine life without them. I currently have one friendly 6-year-old Border Collie and previously owned two Labrador Retrievers, so I’m experienced with both energetic and medium to large breeds.

Although I’m new to Pawshake, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs for many years from puppies to adult doggies and small and medium breeds and understand how important it is to find someone you can completely trust with your beloved pet.

I live in a quiet, safe estate with my husband, our toddler son and Ollie our border collie. Our home has a fully fenced and secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and playtime.

I aim to provide a true home away from home, where every dog receives plenty of love, patience and personalised care. To ensure each guest gets my full attention, I only accept one guest dog at a time (in addition to my own dog), unless they are from the same household.

As I’m currently at home full-time looking after my son, our home and my dog, your pet will enjoy constant companionship and supervision throughout the day. The only time I’m less available is during my son’s daily two-hour nap, but I remain at home, so your dog is never left alone.

I know every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, and I’ll always do my best to help them feel relaxed, happy and secure while staying with us.

Please note

• Owners are responsible for drop-off and collection.

• Unfortunately, I don’t offer pick-up, home visits or dog walking as a standalone service.

• I do not provide grooming or bathing services.

• All dogs must be fully vaccinated.

• Dogs should be friendly with children and other dogs.

• I only host one guest dog at a time (unless they are from the same household).

My goal is to provide a calm, caring and secure environment where your dog is treated as part of the family, not just as a guest. Meaning they can also feel comfortable in my coach if they'd like. 🤗😅
