Hi! My name is Rhona and I’m based in Kinvara. I’m 16 years old and have been surrounded by animals my whole life. I regularly mind friends’ and neighbours’ pets and am confident caring for a variety of animals.

I have a dog, two bunnies, and a horse, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and attention animals need. I have volunteered every Saturday for the past six years at a local horse rescue, which has given me strong hands-on experience with different temperaments and behaviours. During Transition Year, I completed five weeks of work experience with the GSPCA, as well as placements in veterinary clinics, animal shelters, and horse yards.

I am comfortable handling larger, stronger dogs, as I have a big rescue dog who pulls on the lead and can be quite vocal. I treat every animal with kindness, respect, and care, and their wellbeing is always my priority.
