Hi! My name is Melanie and I run a caring and reliable pet sitting service based in Galway 😊 I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs of different personalities, including anxious, sensitive and high-energy dogs 🐾

I offer dog walking, home visits and overnight pet sitting depending on your dog’s needs and routine. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, calm and comfortable while their owners are away, so I always try to give them lots of attention, patience and affection.

I’m especially good with needy or nervous dogs who need a gentle and calm approach. I love spending time outdoors, going for walks and making sure pets feel happy and cared for 💛

I’ve already done pet sitting and dog walking in Galway and I always try to keep owners updated and reassured while they’re away. I’m responsible, clean, respectful in people’s homes and happy to arrange a meet & greet beforehand so everyone feels comfortable 😊

Walks are usually between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on each dog’s energy level and needs 😊 I always try to keep pets calm, safe and comfortable, and I’m happy to follow any routines or special instructions from owners.

I also send regular photo and message updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away 🐾 In case of any emergency, I would contact the owner immediately and follow their preferred vet instructions if needed.

I’m usually available throughout the week and I only take a small number of pets at a time so I can give each one proper attention and care 😊

I’m always happy to learn and follow specific routines, including medication instructions or extra support for anxious pets if needed.

During walks, I always try to keep dogs safe and comfortable by paying close attention to their behaviour, surroundings and energy levels 🐾 I’m patient with nervous dogs and happy to reinforce basic routines and calm behaviour during walks and daily care.

Although I’m still growing my professional experience, I’ve spent years around animals and I genuinely care about giving pets a safe, loving and stress-free experience 😊
