My name is Claudia Burton and I'm 18 years old. I am a student in Kerry College studying animal care. Next year I hope to study veterinary nursing at MTU.
I have a passion for animals and growing up with a menagerie all my life, I have plenty of experience. I have experience with horses, birds, cats, dogs, chinchillas, guinea pigs and rabbits.
I volunteer for a local charity and have been fostering kittens for over a year now.
I am experienced with sick animals having had a work experience placement at the Ark vets and many of the kittens I foster have issues. It is my job to get them back to health, taking them to their vet appointments, treating them with medication and seeing to their different needs.
I am living near Killarney and have my own transport. I walk my dog daily in the national park and happy to bring other friendly small dogs along with me.
I have also just completed a dog grooming course so that service is also available whilst you are away.
I can visit once or twice daily and I am also available for housesitting.
While you are away, you can have peace of mind knowing that your furry or feathered friends are getting 5* care with lots of love and cuddles.

We would highly recommend Claudia as your go to pet-sitter because she’s certainly become ours!
On first meeting, Claudia is very shy. But this is actually what made her purrfect for our own shy and very nervous feline fur-baby. And as predicted, they got on very well, which isn’t easy for our little lady as she needs to be manhandled twice a day so that her oral medication can be administered. She's also raw fed. This means that her food needs to be defrosted daily, and her 4-daily feeds need to go into a timed feeder, along with an icepack. To top it off, she’s an IBD cat, so there’s the constant possibility of her getting sick as well as her potentially having difficulty with her number 2’s! In the event of which, detailed actions are required to be carried out. In other words, she’s not a straightforward kitty!!! But Claudia managed extremely well with all of the handover information, and even had time to give us detailed regular updates on WhatsApp with accompanying videos and photos over the 12 nights we were away. When we came back our little lady had even put on weight!!! Let’s just say, all 3 of us had a great holiday!
