We offer a personal, loving and bespoke home-from-home service exclusively for small dogs, where your treasured pet can enjoy the freedom, comfort and attention of a real family home.

We know how difficult it can be to leave your dog when you go away. Our aim is to make their stay feel like a holiday of their own, with lots of love, cuddles, companionship, playtime and plenty of peaceful time to relax.

🏡 Their home while you’re away

Your dog will have the run of our home and our completely secure garden, so they can choose where they want to relax, play or have a little nap.

We are also happy to accommodate your dog’s normal sleeping arrangements. If they are used to sleeping in a bedroom at home, they are welcome to sleep in our bedroom too.

We want your dog to feel comfortable and settled rather than feeling like they are staying somewhere unfamiliar.

Every dog is different, so we provide a bespoke routine around their individual personality and needs — from an energetic little dog who loves walks and play to a quieter dog who would rather curl up beside us for a cuddle.

❤️ Treated as one of our own

We have had dogs all our lives and absolutely adore them.

Our own dog Poppi is an 8-year-old Cavapoo and our best friend. She is friendly, sociable and loves having little doggie friends to stay.

My husband and I are both retired, which means we have lots of time to devote to Poppi and our guests. Your dog won’t be left for long periods on their own — they become part of our daily life while they are with us.

There are cuddles on the sofa, playtime in the garden, walks, companionship and, just as importantly, lots of quiet time for sleeping and relaxing.

🌳 Walks, fresh air & little adventures

We are lucky to have some lovely places to walk close to our home, including local parks and a beautiful river walk.

Poppi also enjoys trips to the beach and the Hill of Tara, which is nearby.

We tailor walks to each individual dog. Your dog doesn’t have to be an energetic walker — we are equally happy providing a quiet, relaxing stay for a little dog who prefers gentle walks and lots of cuddles.

🐶 Small dogs only

We particularly enjoy caring for small companion breeds, and we understand that many little dogs are very much part of the family and are accustomed to lots of human attention.

Our service is deliberately personal rather than a large-scale boarding environment. We want to know your dog, understand their routine and make them feel completely at home.

👋 Meet us before you book

We would love you to come and meet Poppi, us and our home before your dog’s first stay.

This gives you the opportunity to see exactly where your treasured pet will be staying and ask us anything you’d like to know.

It also allows Poppi to meet her new little friend before their holiday begins! ❤️

We believe that meeting beforehand gives everyone — especially you — peace of mind that your dog is going to a safe, happy and loving home.

Important information

For the health and safety of all our guests, we require proof of vaccinations, including kennel cough, as well as up-to-date flea and worming treatments.

Daycare collection: up to 6pm.
