About chloe
Hi, my name is Chloe, I’m 22 years old and based in Dublin. I’m a huge animal lover and currently own a Jack Russell cross called Raymond, who is my world. I also had a collie cross for 16 years, so I have experience caring for both small and large dogs.Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience working with a wide variety of animals. I previously volunteered at Causey Farm and Wooly Ward's Farm, where I helped care for many different animals. I’ve also owned guinea pigs for several years, so I’m familiar with the individual needs and care requirements of different pets.
At the moment, I help out part-time in a dog groomer’s, which has given me experience working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs. I’ve previously walked dogs for neighbours and family friends and have also provided overnight dog sitting on a few occasions.
When caring for dogs, I offer at least two walks a day, each lasting a minimum of 45 minutes, depending on the dog’s age, energy level, and ability. I like to keep dogs in a calm and structured routine with regular walks, feeding times, toilet breaks, playtime, and rest so they feel comfortable and settled while in my care. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially when they are away from their owners.I’m very organised with my schedule and only take on the number of bookings that I know I can properly manage while still giving every pet plenty of attention, care, and exercise. If I have multiple bookings, I carefully plan walks, feeding schedules, and one-on-one time to make sure each animal’s needs are fully met. I also always keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind.
My own dog is a rescue who needed time and patience to become comfortable around people, so I’m especially understanding of anxious or nervous dogs and would never push them beyond their boundaries. I’m confident in handling different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, supervision, and creating a safe environment. In case of emergencies, I would contact the owner immediately and follow any instructions they have provided regarding their pet’s care. I’m calm under pressure, attentive to changes in behaviour, and would never hesitate to seek veterinary help if needed. My priority is always the safety and well-being of the animals in my care.
Although I completed a three-year degree in psychology and criminology at Maynooth University, working with animals has always been my real passion, and my part-time work has only confirmed that for me.
I would be absolutely delighted to care for or walk your furry friends!
