Hello! My name is Kalina and I am a 26 years old Psychology postgraduate, working in Social services. I have grown up around pets and have always loved interacting with animals and taking care of them. Over the years I have had two cats and a bunny, have temporarily sheltered sick cats, birds and a hedgehog, and currently I have my 9 years old dog Lyra. I'm fortunate to have a lot of experience taking care of animals and bonding with them. Since my dog suffers from epilepsy, I'm not only experienced in regular day to day care, but also in reacting in emergent situations, giving pills and adhering to strict schedules. Apart from that, I am of course super familiar with playing, cuddling, going on walks and giving treats, so any pet should be well entertained and given lots of love and attention. Previously I have taken care of friends' pets while they were on vacation and have had great time with them, making them feel as comfortable as possible in their temporary home with me. I am familiar with taking care of animals as a professional obligation as well. While studying in The Netherlands, I was walking three great dogs six days a week and took care of a cat when the owner was away. My love for animals also led me on this app, hoping I would be able to connect with even more owners in need of assistance and spend time with their pets.
