Hello everyone!

My name is Alisa. I’m originally from Thailand/Malaysia, but I’m currently in Dublin, Ireland, for my studies. I’m in my 4th year of Dental school, and it’s been the wildest, most challenging yet most exciting chapter of my life! As you would understand, I'm expected to be at college most of the weeks days. 

I’ve studied in Bangkok, Macau and graduated from a United World College Thailand (in Phuket). Back home, I was able to involve myself in numerous global organisations and volunteering programs. Whether it be at elephant or gibbon sanctuaries, turtle rehabilitation centres, or dog shelters, I love to find time to be a part of programs that also involve animals. I have made countless unforgettable memories and learnt life lessons from those experiences.

My friends know me as the friend with almost a literal zoo in their house. Back home in Bangkok, we have 11 dogs (3 Pomeranians, 1 Thai Ridgeback, 6 Chihuahuas, and 1 toy poodle), 7 sulcata turtles (they aren’t too big yet!!!), 1 family of hamsters, 1 family of dormouses, 1 bearded dragon (Caramel!), a couple flying squirrels, 80+ forpus birds (yes 80+!! They are super small parrots, my cousins are breeding them for sale from my house! We have a bird room too) and countless fishes in tanks.

You might notice i didn't add cats in the list as unfortunately my dad is allergic so we weren't able to have cats long term. We have fostered cats temporarily. I do have experiences caring for cats as I was lucky enough to get to cat sit so many times through TSH!

My young nephews also love to catch random bugs, so we also have those too.

In my free time, I love love LOVE to cook, bake, listen to music, and spend quality time with my friends!
