Hi! My name is Sarah, although I go by my middle name, Katy. I’m a qualified veterinarian who graduated from University College Dublin in 2025, and I’ve always had a huge love for animals. Before studying veterinary medicine, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Sciences, so caring for animals has truly been a lifelong passion of mine!

I grew up with two dogs and have been dog-sitting and caring for pets throughout high school, university, and beyond. I have experience walking both small and large dogs and am particularly fond of smaller breeds such as Shih Tzus, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and Bichons. That said, I absolutely love dogs of all shapes and sizes and would be delighted to care for any friendly, loving dog.

As a veterinarian, I’m also comfortable administering medications and am confident recognising when a pet may need additional attention or veterinary care. I know there is a veterinary practice nearby in Greystones should an emergency ever arise, although I always take care to prioritise your pet’s safety, including keeping dogs securely on their leads during walks.

I’m also very comfortable around cats and would love to provide visits and care for your feline friends too! 🐱

I offer pet care services in coastal Greystones. I live in Glenealy and don’t drive, but my husband works in Greystones, so I’m able to travel there with him.

Services and rates:

Dog walking

• 30-minute walk: €20
• Additional dog from the same household: +€5

Cat care

• 30-minute visit: €15

I’ll be available to start offering my services from 31 August.
