I am looking to offer small to large sized dogs a home whilst their owners are away (weekends only) and walk dogs in the evenings or on weekends when the owners do not have time or whatever the circumstance might be.

I have grown up with dogs from a young age, from Westies to Ridgebacks and now two Vizsla's in my family home. I am confident with small to large sized dogs once they're comfortable with me!

I regularly look after dogs for families and friends, including cockapoos, cocker spaniels, daschunds and labradors. Depending on the dog and the owners wants, I have looked after the dogs in my own home in Blackrock or I have stayed over in their home. The owners may have felt the dogs are more comfortable in their own space.

I’ve volunteered with DSPCA, Milos Mission Rescue and Wicklow Animal Welfare to foster and transport dogs. I've probably met 100's of dogs in all different shapes, sizes and conditions at this stage. I've experience with training dogs from puppy age with toilet training and various tricks including, sit, lying down, roll over, paw and much more!

I live in a bungalow in Blackrock with a large enclosed garden for plenty of playtime but have parks near by also that allow for nice walks.

If the dog was to stay with us, I would not leave him/her alone for more than 3 hours.

The dogs can sleep wherever they're comfortable, whether it be the bed, their bed, the couch etc.

I do not have a dog in my own house, but hope to one day. So in the meantime I am hoping to look after other peoples dogs to scratch that itch!
