Hi! 😊 My name is Alba. I’m a responsible, calm and caring person who has always loved animals. I’ve been surrounded by pets since I was little, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while their owners are away.

For me, caring for a pet is about much more than simply feeding them or taking them for a walk. Every animal has its own personality, habits and needs, so I like to get to know each pet individually and follow their owner’s instructions as closely as possible, keeping their usual routine wherever I can.

I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel worrying, especially if it’s their first time. My goal is to make the experience as easy and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. I want them to have time to get comfortable with me and their new surroundings while always respecting their personality and boundaries.

🏡 My home & company

I work from home, which means your pet will have company for most of the day. I’ll be around to give them attention, affection and company, and I can also keep an eye on them throughout the day.

At the same time, I understand that not every pet wants constant attention. In my home, they’ll be able to move around freely and choose where they feel most comfortable, including having their own space to relax and rest whenever they need it.

I also have a small garden, where they can enjoy some fresh air safely.

I’ll always follow the rules and preferences you have for your pet — whether they are allowed on the sofa, where they normally sleep, which areas of the house they can access, their feeding times, treats, and so on.

Your pet’s usual routines and boundaries will be respected in my home too.

🐶🐱 Walks & time together

I really enjoy going for walks, so I’m happy to adapt walks to each dog’s individual needs and energy levels.

I live close to several parks where we can enjoy quieter walks, including Four Master Park, Blessington Street Park, Mountjoy Square Park and Kings Inns Park. For dogs who enjoy longer or more active walks, Fairview Park is also nearby.

Not every dog needs the same kind of walk. Some are happiest taking their time, sniffing and exploring, while others need longer walks to burn off some energy. I’ll adapt to each dog and, of course, always follow the owner’s instructions.

If a pet cannot or should not go for walks, I can adapt our time together and keep them comfortable at home and in the garden instead.

❤️ I’ll care for your pet like I’d want mine to be cared for

I’m happy to care for dogs, cats and other pets, as long as I can provide the care they need and their owner gives me all the relevant information and instructions beforehand.

I like to know things such as their usual food and feeding schedule, how much exercise they normally have, their personality, anything that makes them nervous, how they are around people or other animals, whether they need medication, their favourite things, and anything else you think I should know.

You know your pet better than anyone, so your instructions are very important to me.

If your dog loves going for walks, we’ll go for walks. If your cat prefers to stay quietly at home, I’ll respect their space. If your pet needs lots of company, they’ll have plenty of it. And if they need some quiet time, they’ll have that too.

My aim is for your pet to feel as comfortable as possible and maintain a routine that is as familiar as possible to them, rather than feeling like everything has suddenly changed.

📸 Updates & peace of mind

I know that when you leave your pet with someone else, you want to know that they’re okay. That’s why I’m happy to keep you updated throughout their stay with photos and regular messages, so you can see how they’re doing and what they’re getting up to. 📸❤️

Before the stay, you can tell me anything you think is important about your pet. I’d much rather have too much information than not enough, as it helps me understand them and provide the best possible care.

Your pet is part of your family, and I completely understand how important it is to leave them in good hands. 🐾

My goal is for you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing that your pet is safe, comfortable, cared for and receiving plenty of love and attention.
