I have experience with rescues, both cats and dogs! 

I have two adopted dogs both large, a German Shephard and a black Lab. I also own an applehead Chihuahua. I have walked all dogs at the same time and my walks span from 30 minutes up to two hours. I believe mental stimulation doesn't have to end with a walk and can be continued at home with puzzle feeders and learning new tricks. I have taken care of elderly dogs, administering medication and changing dog diapers. I have also taken care of puppies giving them their worm and flea treatments. 

My two cats, a domestic shorthair and a Maine Coon are given plenty of mental stimulation to keep them entertained indoors. Rotating different toys, giving plenty of scratch posts and scheduled play sessions are hugely helpful to their overall moo. I applied the same principles to my foster cats. Both of which were found abandoned on the street. When they entered my home they hid behind the furn and barely came out to eat, by the time they found their forever family they were sleeping at the foot the bed each night. With cats I have also administered multiple types of medications. 

I can look after mulitple pets at once including a combination of cats and dogs. I can also walk multiple pets per visit. I organise my sessions based on the specific tasks requested by the owner which can vary from specific feeding times, walking routines snd play sessions. I do not book too many sessions at once as I like to give my full attention to one session at a time. I manage safety during sessions and during walks by always using leashes and harness's provided, never forcefully taking food or toys away from animals as this can cause aggressive reactions, and always allowing the dog to approach first and in their own time. This protects both me and the animal.

For any type of medical emergency I would stay calm, secure the pet, follow the emergency procedures given to me by the owner which may include calling the owner specified vetinary hospital or if it were an after hours emergency the closest emergency vet hospital such as UCD Pet Emergency Hospital, call the owner immediately and follow their instructions.  

I know being away from your pet can be hard so I can send photos and videos through SMS or whatsapp at any time throughout my stay. 

I am fully flexible and can work Monday through Sunday. I can do stays that suit you whether it's a 30 minute drop in or a multiple night stay I can fit around your schedule. I believe I am a perfect fit for your family!
