Hello! My name is João, and I am a reliable, caring, and responsible pet sitter with a genuine passion for animals and their well-being. I have always had a deep love for animals, and my motivation to become a pet sitter comes from the happiness I feel when caring for them and the peace of mind it gives owners knowing their pets are safe, comfortable, and well looked after.

I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and hamsters. In Brazil, it was very common for me to take care of pets for family members, friends, and through personal recommendations, which helped me gain confidence with different breeds, personalities, and routines. The pets in my gallery are all animals I have personally cared for and shared meaningful experiences with.

One of my most valuable experiences was looking after a deaf and mute dog, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to adapt to different ways animals communicate. This helped me become more observant and confident in understanding each pet’s individual needs and behaviour.

In my care, I provide daily walks of around 30 to 60 minutes depending on the pet’s energy level, along with feeding, playtime, companionship, and basic care. I am also available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits depending on the agreed schedule, and I ensure pets are not left alone for long periods when doing house sitting. I can also support senior pets by following specific routines, administering basic care if instructed, and being extra attentive to their comfort and mobility needs. I am also comfortable reinforcing basic training such as leash walking and simple commands when needed.

I always follow owners’ instructions carefully and maintain a consistent routine to ensure pets feel safe and relaxed. I provide regular updates with messages and photos so owners can stay reassured while away.

In case of emergencies, I remain calm, act quickly, and contact the owner immediately while following any agreed instructions. The safety, comfort, and well-being of every animal are always my priority.

For health and safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets.
