I've always had cats and have a special connection with them. I've been caring for cats since I was 12 years old, so I'm very comfortable managing vet visits, safely using a carrier, and administering medication, whether it's liquid, tablets or spot-on treatments. Cats are often misunderstood, but I believe they deserve patience, respect and the space to feel comfortable in their own time.

I'm currently studying for a Master's degree, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me plenty of time to care for pets. Whether it's home visits, dog walking or overnight stays, I'm happy to accommodate most requests. As I'm fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, I'm also happy to communicate with owners in whichever language they feel most comfortable.

When caring for dogs, I always follow the owner's routine as closely as possible. Every dog has its own personality and needs, whether that's long walks, shorter strolls, playtime or simply enjoying quiet company. I take the time to understand each dog's routine, energy level and any training or behavioural requirements so they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you're away.

My typical day starts around 8 a.m., when I check in on the pets before preparing their breakfast. After they've had time to digest, I follow the owner's instructions for walks, playtime or enrichment activities. Throughout the day, pets receive plenty of attention, supervision and rest, ensuring they never become overstimulated or left alone for long periods. Before bedtime, I carry out one final check to make sure everyone is settled, comfortable and ready for the night. Guest pets sleep in my room with me, either on their own bed, my rug or my bed, depending on what they're used to and what their owner prefers.

Your pet's safety and well-being are always my highest priorities. Before every booking, I make sure I have your emergency contact details, your preferred veterinary clinic, and any important medical, dietary or behavioural information. If an unexpected situation ever arises, I will access the situation, move the pets away from the stressful situation and see if it's a physical problem or if it's emotional distress. After that I will contact you and keep you updated, and, if necessary, seek veterinary care without delay. I also provide regular updates and photos throughout your pet's stay, so you can relax knowing they're happy and in good hands.

I can comfortably accommodate up to three large enclosures for small pets.

Guest pets stay indoors with me under constant supervision. My own cat is calm, friendly and used to being around other animals. If needed, she can stay in separate areas of the house to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. I'm always happy to follow any introductions or separation routines that owners prefer.
