Hi! I’m Valentina, I’m 26 years old and I’m from Argentina. I recently moved to Ireland with my husband and, while I’m waiting for my work permit, I’d love to spend my time, while waiting, being around animals.

I’m available most days of the week and I’m happy to travel anywhere that can be reached by public transport.

The time and rhythm of the walks that I give will depend on the owner's and dog's needs. I believe 30 min is an acceptable amount of time for old and young dogs because they usually define the pace and how much they wanna play.

I don't allow my dogs to be off leash unless they are in an enclosed area alone or with dogs that have previously interacted with, but never without supervision! I am very strict about that and one always needs to be aware that a bad reaction from a dog can became risky at any time.

I am strong and confortable handling big dogs.

I grew up surrounded by animals and it feels strange not having any around now! 🥲 Back home, my family has three adopted dogs and three adopted cats, all with very different personalities, ages, and stories. Looking after them taught me a lot about patience and how every animal is unique.

I took a massive amount of time to get my really mean and distrusting cats to be as lovely and friendly as they are now. 🥹

My mum and I also spent many years volunteering in shelters and rescue centres, helping care for dogs and cats that needed a little extra love and attention. Because of that, I’m comfortable with energetic young dogs, nervous rescue animals, and older pets who need a slower pace and a bit more care.

I’ve also been lucky to spend time around chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, and sheep. Animals have always been part of my everyday life, whether as pets, rescue animals, or farm animals. 🐣

One of my favourite things is getting to know an animal’s personality. I enjoy building that connection and making them feel safe and comfortable.

Moving to Ireland has been amazing, but I really miss having animals around. Taking care of your pets would be something I genuinely enjoy. I would love the opportunity to meet your furry family members and give them all the care, attention, walks, cuddles, and playtime they deserve while you’re away. 🩷
